Carson Properties was established in 1987 as a professional full-service property management and real estate marketing firm. Serving the metropolitan area, we currently oversee the management, leasing and sales over 15 multi-family, HOA associations and condominium/cooperative projects.

Carson Properties (CP) is in the service business. As Property Managers, our goal is to maximize the value of the property we handle and to be sensitive to and supportive of our owner’s needs. As property owners, we understand the value of obtaining quality tenants, precise and
detailed maintenance, and maximizing revenue while minimizing expenses.  We are proud to say that in an industry that has high turnover we have one of the highest retention rates.

Jason Carson, Property Manager

After graduating from Morgan State University in Hospitality Management, I worked a few years in the restaurant industry but quickly realized my passion was in real estate investing. By merging my expertise in customer service, I found an easy transition into property management in 2009. The Real Estate industry is constantly changing and there’s never a dull moment, which is a constant reminder that my career change was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I literally can’t see myself doing anything else. I love solving problems and ensuring that community Board’s or investors are meeting their financial and property goals.

I am a licensed realtor in Washington, DC and Maryland; a licensed property manager in Washington, DC; A graduate of the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP); A member of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) and hold the current designation of CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations).

Linda D. Carson – Harris, Broker/Owner

In 1987, after being a real estate agent with Long and Foster, I decided to become a real estate broker and form Carson Properties, a real estate brokerage and management firm.  The firm developed a reputation for helping the small landlord and the moderate-income buyer purchase property.  We developed wonderful relationships with Non-profit entities like Washington Intercity Self Help (WISH), Columbia Heights Merchants Association, Columbia Heights Development Association and MANNA where I also served as a board member.

My career in property management and housing development afforded me many opportunities to include developing homeowner training and development/acquisitions manuals, and frequent speaking engagements.  I received the Theodore R. Hagans Award for outstanding achievements in Business, and awards for outstanding service in community management, Washington, D.C.  I’ve enjoyed a career in real estate services and investing for 32 years.  The daily operations of Carson Properties were turned over to my son, Jason in 2019.

I have tremendous experience in property management after working several years with a couple large real estate companies within the Washington, DC market. I have expertise in leasing, maintenance coordination, property inspections and compliance enforcement. Prior to working in real estate, I served as a 911 Call Taker for the DC police. This opportunity gave me the skills necessary to respond to emergencies while staying calm and providing exceptional customer service. I’ve been able to use all of my professional education to obtain success in my real estate journey to look forward to all that is to come.
Outside of work, I am a mother to three beautiful daughters and I enjoy spending time with my family while pursuing passions in Interior Design and traveling.
